Tamara A. Beyer DVM
Dr. Beyer is a Racine native and 1990 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. After working in Milwaukee for 6 1/2 years, Dr. Beyer and her husband Jeff purchased Beechwood Veterinary Clinic in January 1997. Over the years, the clinic has grown from the original three employees to our current size. Dr. Beyer has a special interest in dermatology, has published articles in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association, taught a class in Business Practices at the Veterinary School and also has done a radio show for a local station. She and Jeff have two sons and two dogs. In her spare time, Dr. Beyer can be found driving the Beyer Bus to sporting events, crocheting while cheering on the Badgers and Packers, searching for ideas on Pinterest and trying (in vain) to get caught up on her scrapbooking.

My name is Kassie. I’ve been working in the veterinary field since 2010. I started off as a receptionist at an emergency clinic and eventually was trained on the job as a veterinary assistant. I have been working at Beechwood Vet Clinic since October 2014. I enjoy working at a day practice because you get to know your clients and build that relationship. I am also currently a fill time student at UW Parkside working on my Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. I’ve lived in Racine my whole life. I enjoy camping, fishing and spending time with my family.
My name is Jennifer, but everyone calls me Jen. Have been in the veterinary profession since 1993 and at Beechwood Vet Clinic since 1999. I have been a credentialed veterinary technician since 2007. My special interest includes patient weight management, behavioral issues and general troubleshooting. I always find my daily interactions and conversations with clients to be most enjoyable! Outside of the clinic, I spend my time competing in AKC conformation shows, obedience trials and retriever hunt tests. As a licensed AKC hunt test judge, I give back to the sport I love b volunteering my time to judge at the junior and senior levels. My husband Ryan and I also raise Labrador Retrievers(we currently own 5) whom we hunt waterfowl and upland birds with.
Hi, my name is Tracey. I started at Beechwood in 2004 as a front desk receptionist. I have three dogs, four birds, a turtle, fish and a frog. My hobbies are writing, art and photography. I am currently back in school for a degree in Graphic Design with a minor in photography. I love working on computers and web design. My life has revolved around animals from the moment I could remember. From family pets, to working on a horse farm, a private zoo, animals have been the center of my world. I have a background in rescue work, temperament testing, horse care and training. I love the ability to be able to help animals in need, as my background shows. I may not always remember a client's name, but I often will remember the name of their pets.
Hello! My name is Kayla! I have been in the veterinary field since 2003. I started at my local humane society and moved onto emergency and critical care where I spent several years. Having settled into Beechwood in 2013, the day practice setting allows me to establish relationships with clients and their beloved four-legged family members and I am loving it! I have special interests in preventative medicine, nutrition, and behavior. I also run an in-home pet sitting business where I come to your house to care for your pet in your absence. I take of everything from young, healthy pups, to old, diabetic cats, and everything in between! When I am not working, I squeeze in some time with my husband and pack of dogs and cats! Every minute of every day is about my passion for animals! I look forward to meeting your furry family members and answering all your questions!!
My name is Jennifer, and I have been working at Beechwood since September, 2017. I recently graduated from Gateway’s Veterinary Science program, and obtained my certification as a veterinary technician. My interests include surgery, animal husbandry, and geriatric patient care. Before starting at Beechwood, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Conservation and Environmental Science. I worked for the Department of Natural Resources in the State Park system for several years, and have volunteered at several wildlife facilities. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, kayaking, photography, and spending time with Hayden, my highly energetic Labrador and my two cats Jasper and Storm.
Hi, my name is Carly! I’m new here at Beechwood as I just started November of 2017. I have been working in the veterinary field since I was 17 years old but have always loved working with animals. My favorite part of my job would be building relationships with all the clients/patients we see! In my spare time, I love baking, enjoying the outdoors and working my pitbull named Blu in agility!
